District 2 — November Report

My Brothers and Sisters,

Let me fist start off by thanking all the Veterans for their service and sacrifices as we are upon Veterans Day.

he holidays are coming upon us shortly, take the time to spend with family and friends, enjoy the times with them, celebrate and be safe.

Upcoming work in District 2 is remaining about the same. Most recent calls have been for Marathon refinery. Long Beach has a few projects just in the beginning stages and will be gearing up end of the year or start of 2020. The Long Beach Airport, complete remodel of the Breakers Hotel, new administration building in the port, new mixed use high rise at corner of Ocean & Alamitos, battery storage facility at AES Power Plant, old city hall to be torn down and two new mixed use buildings to be built. In Carson the new outdoor mall is in the beginning stages, dirt work, pile drivers and underground work is being done.

December 4th is our District 2 Holiday meeting (party!!), as usual we will be serving up tasty tamales with all the sides, great raffle prizes and Brotherhood. So come out, family and friends are invited, and let’s celebrate the Holidays together.
