District 5 — July Report

Brothers and Sisters,

I hope this finds you and your families well through these trying times. As the weather heats up, we are continuing work throughout Antelope Valley. We have a new Community Workforce Agreement for Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District. This agreement will create several jobs for our members not only in Antelope Valley but our surrounding areas as well. Our solar project is getting ready to kick off in West Lancaster being done by Rosendin Electric. Our Journeyman classes are now being done on-line. For those of you who signed up in District 5 to take LAQSP, will be notified. Everyone is welcome to take the class. It is 32 hours and does count toward State Certification.

As always, I would like to thank our officers and members for all their hard work and participation. Please stay cool, hydrated and prevent heat illness. Always wear your PPE and be safe.

MITCH KLEIN
Business Representative
