On March 5, Baker Electric commissioned its new 75K-square foot facility in Cypress by erecting a new 25-foot flagpole under the supervision of Allen McLean who is the Vice President of Baker Electric. The flagpole was erected by IBEW Local Union 11 electricians who are under the employment of Baker Electric. Area Supervisor Kelly Oliver, a journeyman Inside Wireman and Local 11 Member for 25 years, stated that the official act of erecting the American flag over a signatory contractor-owned facility, represents all that we stand for and validates our interest in management and labor being united.
